Team Lotus T128 – Mini plane addition on beam wing for Interlagos

Team Lotus T128 – rear wing with low drag at Monza

The Monza version cannot be compared to any other because it has a very short airfoil chord leading to a special DRS mechanism also. Endplate gills were also vanished like Canada spec . The ultimate goal for all teams in Monza is top speed and minimum drag .

Team Lotus T128 – Hybrid rear wing at Valencia

A new hybrid rear wing was launched at European GP featuring elements from both the Canadian and a pre Canadian wing design . In particular the wing was based on the older version having now three fasteners and  revised DRS sleeve .

Team Lotus T128 – New rear wing for Montreal

Team Lotus had a mew rear wing of Low downforce for Montreal , which had airfoil of smaller profile and a new DRS mechanism (No2) to suit with flap changes .Also the flap fasteners were increased from two to three (one in the centre and two more close to the endplates , No3) and finally the gills on the endplates were vanished (No4) .

Team Lotus T128 – rear wing endplates revision at Malaysia

A new endplate design on the rear wing  for T128 at Sepang . The new endplates are elongated to the bottom touching the diffuser roof in a way to isolate diffuser main area from air turbulence created by rear’s suspension wishbones and rear wheel rotatoion . This  endplate philosophy is not new but  a path followed  by top teams the last couple of years .
