Sauber C29 – Back to Australian rear wing spec at Monaco
Sauber abolished the use of the F-duct system at slow Monaco city roads and re-used the spec first seen at Melbourne .
Red Bull RB6 – Minor revisions to the diffuser at Canada
In an attempt to reduce further the unwanted turbulence created by the rear wheel rotation Red Bull revised the diffuser outer tabs making them having pointed edges .
Sauber C29 – Low downforce rear wing at Canada
The C29 raced a much lower downforce rear wing spec at Canada which had fewer endplate gills ( 2 gills instead of 4 ) and a reduced chord . The F-duct system was also updated to the needs of the new wing blowing now the upper second plane instead of the main profile .
Sauber C29 – Special cooling care to the electronics
Sauber’s electronics are tightly packed inside the sidepods and in particular in front of and under the inclined radiators . In order to keep their temperature reasonable low Sauber opened a small duct on both radiators inlets to feed the electronics with fresh air . The hot air then exits via a series of slits spotted at the back .
